Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn ’Isma‘il from abu ’Isma‘il al-Sarraj from ibn Muskan from a man who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘It is enough humiliation for a man to wear a dress that causes public abhorrence or use such a stumper.’”

3. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Khalid from ‘Uthman ibn ‘Isa from those whom he has mentioned who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘Something that causes public abhorrence is in the fire, regardless of being good or bad.’”
