Another Chapter About the Previous Subject

1- عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ شَمُّونٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الأصَمِّ عَنْ مِسْمَعِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) ثَمَانِيَةٌ لا تَحِلُّ مُنَاكَحَتُهُمْ أَمَتُكَ أُمُّهَا أَمَتُكَ أَوْ أُخْتُهَا أَمَتُكَ وَأَمَتُكَ وَهِيَ عَمَّتُكَ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ وَأَمَتُكَ وَهِيَ خَالَتُكَ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ أَمَتُكَ وَهِيَ أَرْضَعَتْكَ أَمَتُكَ وَقَدْ وُطِئَتْ حَتَّى تَسْتَبْرِئَهَا بِحَيْضَةٍ أَمَتُكَ وَهِيَ حُبْلَى مِنْ غَيْرِكَ أَمَتُكَ وَهِيَ عَلَى سَوْمٍ أَمَتُكَ وَلَهَا زَوْجٌ.
1. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Muhammad ibn al-Hassan ibn Shammun from ‘Abd Allah ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman al-Asamm from Misma’ ibn ‘Abd al-Malik who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said that ’Amir al-Mu’minin has said, ‘In the following eight cases marriage is not permissible: Your slave-girl whose mother is your slave-girl, or her sister is your slave-girl, your slave-girl who is your paternal aunt of breastfeeding, your slave-girl who is your maternal aunt of breastfeeding, your slave-girl who has breastfed you, your slave-girl who has gone to bed with someone until passing of one menses cycle, your slave-girl who is pregnant from another man, your slave-girl whose value is being assessed and is not yet purchased and your slave-girl who has a husband.’”
