1
1- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ قَضَى النَّبِيُّ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) فِي رَجُلٍ بَاعَ نَخْلا وَاسْتَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ نَخْلَةً فَقَضَى لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) بِالْمَدْخَلِ إِلَيْهَا وَالْمَخْرَجِ مِنْهَا وَمَدَى جَرَائِدِهَا.
1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from af-Nawfafiy from af-Sakuniy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, issued a judgment, in the case of a man who sold a garden with the exception of one tree, that gave it a path to go to and come out and for its twigs.’”

2- عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ شَمُّونٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الأصَمِّ عَنْ مِسْمَعِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) مَا بَيْنَ بِئْرِ الْمَعْطِنِ إِلَى بِئْرِ الْمَعْطِنِ أَرْبَعُونَ ذِرَاعاً وَمَا بَيْنَ بِئْرِ النَّاضِحِ إِلَى بِئْرِ النَّاضِحِ سِتُّونَ ذِرَاعاً وَمَا بَيْنَ الْعَيْنِ إِلَى الْعَيْنِ خَمْسُمِائَةِ ذِرَاعٍ وَالطَّرِيقُ إِذَا تَشَاحَّ عَلَيْهِ أَهْلُهُ فَحَدُّهُ سَبْعَةُ أَذْرُعٍ.
2. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Muhammad ibn al-Hassan ibn Shammun from ‘Abd Allah ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman al-Asamm from Misma’ ibn ‘Abd al-Malik who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, assigned the distance between two wells for drinking water to be forty Dhira‘ (arms length) and between two irrigating wells sixty Dhira‘ and between two water fountains five hundred Dhira‘ and the width of a road when people disputed was seven Dhira‘.’”

3- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْمَغْرَاءِ عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ حَازِمٍ أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) عَنْ حَظِيرَةٍ بَيْنَ دَارَيْنِ فَزَعَمَ أَنَّ عَلِيّاً (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَضَى لِصَاحِبِ الدَّارِ الَّذِي مِنْ قِبَلِهِ الْقِمَاطُ.
3. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn abu ‘Umayr from abu al-Mighra’ from Mansur ibn Hazim who has said the following: “This is concerning my question before abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, about the yard between two houses and he (the Imam) expressed certainty about the judgment of Ali, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, in such case in favor of the house toward which the fence is facing.’”

4- مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ هِلالٍ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) قَضَى فِي هَوَائِرِ النَّخْلِ أَنْ تَكُونَ النَّخْلَةُ وَالنَّخْلَتَانِ لِلرَّجُلِ فِي حَائِطِ الآخَرِ فَيَخْتَلِفُونَ فِي حُقُوقِ ذَلِكَ فَقَضَى فِيهَا أَنَّ لِكُلِّ نَخْلَةٍ مِنْ أُولَئِكَ مِنَ الأرْضِ مَبْلَغَ جَرِيدَةٍ مِنْ جَرَائِدِهَا حِينَ بُعْدِهَا.
4. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd Allah ibn Hilal from ‘Uqbah ibn Khalid who has said the following: “The Holy Prophet, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, issued a judgment about the size of the area around one or two palm trees that a man may have in a garden which is disputed for each tree to be an area covered by its longest branch or twig.’”

5- عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْبَرْقِيِّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) يَقُولُ حَرِيمُ الْبِئْرِ الْعَادِيَّةِ أَرْبَعُونَ ذِرَاعاً حَوْلَهَا وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ أُخْرَى خَمْسُونَ ذِرَاعاً إِلا أَنْ يَكُونَ إِلَى عَطَنٍ أَوْ إِلَى الطَّرِيقِ فَيَكُونُ أَقَلَّ مِنْ ذَلِكَ إِلَى خَمْسَةٍ وَعِشْرِينَ ذِرَاعاً.
5. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Barqiy from Muhammad ibn Yahya from Hammad ibn ‘Uthman who has said the following: “I once heard abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, saying, ‘The distance between two old wells must be forty Dhira‘ around it and between two wells for drinking water fifty Dhira‘ unless it is near the road, in which case it is less than twenty five Dhira‘.”’

6- مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ هِلالٍ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ يَكُونُ بَيْنَ الْبِئْرَيْنِ إِنْ كَانَتْ أَرْضاً صُلْبَةً خَمْسُمِائَةِ ذِرَاعٍ وَإِنْ كَانَتْ أَرْضاً رِخْوَةً فَأَلْفُ ذِرَاعٍ.
6. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn al-Husayn from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd Allah ibn Hilal from ‘Uqbah ibn Khalid who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘The necessary distance between two wells if the land is solid must be five hundred Dhira‘ and if the land is soft then it must be one thousand Dhira‘.’”

7- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ رَفَعَهُ قَالَ حَرِيمُ النَّهَرِ حَافَتَاهُ وَمَا يَلِيهَا.
7. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father in a marfu’ manner the following: “He (the Imam), ‘Alayhi al-Salam, has said, the restricted area around a canal is up to its edge and that which adjoins it.”

8- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) قَالَ مَا بَيْنَ بِئْرِ الْمَعْطِنِ إِلَى بِئْرِ الْمَعْطِنِ أَرْبَعُونَ ذِرَاعاً وَمَا بَيْنَ بِئْرِ النَّاضِحِ إِلَى بِئْرِ النَّاضِحِ سِتُّونَ ذِرَاعاً وَمَا بَيْنَ الْعَيْنِ إِلَى الْعَيْنِ يَعْنِي الْقَنَاةَ خَمْسُمِائَةِ ذِرَاعٍ وَالطَّرِيقُ يَتَشَاحُّ عَلَيْهِ أَهْلُهُ فَحَدُّهُ سَبْعَةُ أَذْرُعٍ.

9- أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الأشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ مَنْصُورِ بْنِ حَازِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَالَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ خُصٍّ بَيْنَ دَارَيْنِ فَزَعَمَ أَنَّ عَلِيّاً (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) قَضَى بِهِ لِصَاحِبِ الدَّارِ الَّذِي مِنْ قِبَلِهِ وَجْهُ الْقِمَاطِ.
9. Abu Ali al-Ash’ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar from Safwan ibn Yahya from Mansur ibn Hazim who has said the following: “This is concerning my question before abu ‘Abd Allah, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, about the case of a fence between two houses, he (the Imam), ‘Alayhi al-Salam, expressed certainty about the judgment of Ali, ‘Alayhi al-Salam, which was in favor of the house toward which the fence was facing.’"
