حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِیٍّ مَاجِیلَوَیْهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی عَمِّی عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِیٍّ الْقُرَشِیِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْأَسَدِیِّ عَنْ أَبِی خَدِیجَهَ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: الْکَذِبُ عَلَی اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ وَ عَلَی رَسُولِهِ وَ عَلَی الْأَوْصِیَاءِ ع مِنَ الْکَبَائِرِ. وَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص مَنْ قَالَ عَلَیَّ مَا لَمْ أَقُلْ فَلْیَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ.
1. It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. Ali Majilawayh who said it was narrated to me by my uncle from Muhammad b. Ali al-Qurashiy from Abdul-Rahman b. Muhammad al-Asadi from Abi Khadija’ from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: "Lying about Allah, the Exalted, and His Messenger, and the Awsiya' (Imams) is among the major sins. And the Messenger of Allah (sw) said, 'Whoever attributes to me what I have not said should prepare his seat in the Hellfire.'"
