أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْحِمْیَرِیُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ سَیْفٍ عَنْ أَخِیهِ عَلِیٍّ عَنْ أَبِیهِ سَیْفِ بْنِ عَمِیرَهَ عَنِ الصَّادِقِ ع قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ یَقُولُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ یَرْفَعُ بِهَا صَوْتَهُ فَیَفْرُغُ حَتَّی تَنَاثَرَتْ ذُنُوبُهُ تَحْتَ قَدَمَیْهِ کَمَا تَنَاثَرَ وَرَقُ الشَّجَرِ تَحْتَهَا.
1. Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) says, “The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) said, ‘A person who recites Laa ilaaha illallaah loudly is free. He crushes his sins with his feet and destroys them in the same way as dry leaves fall off from a tree’.”

أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ سَیْفٍ عَنْ سُلَیْمَانَ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی عِمْرَانُ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی عَطَاءٌ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ النَّبِیِّ ص قَالَ: مَا مِنَ الْکَلَامِ کَلِمَهٌ أَحَبَّ إِلَی اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ مِنْ قَوْلِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَ مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ یَقُولُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ یَمُدُّ بِهَا صَوْتَهُ فَیَفْرُغُ إِلَّا تَنَاثَرَتْ ذُنُوبُهُ تَحْتَ قَدَمَیْهِ کَمَا تَنَاثَرَ وَرَقُ الشَّجَرِ تَحْتَهَا.
2. My father (rah) said: it was narrated to us by Sa’d b. Abdillah from Ahmad b. Muhammad from al-Hussain b. Sayf from Sulayman b. Umar who said it was narrated to me by ’Imran b. ’Ata who said it was narrated to me by ’Ata from Ibn Abbas from The Prophet (s.a.w.s.) who said: “Allah likes the statement of Laa ilaaha illallaah much more than any other statement in this world. The sins of a person who recites Laa ilaaha illallaah are wiped out in the same way as dry leaves fall off a tree.”

وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ سَیْفٍ عَنْ أَخِیهِ عَلِیٍّ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی أَنَسٌ عَنِ النَّبِیِّ ص قَالَ: کُلُّ جَبَّارٍ عَنِیدٍ مَنْ أَبَی أَنْ یَقُولَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ.
3. And from the previous chain from al-Hussain b. Sayf from his brother Ali from his father from al-Hassan b. al-Sabah who said it was narrated to me by Anas from The Prophet (s.a.w.s.) who said: “One who does not recite Laa ilaaha illallaah is proud and arrogant.”
