أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی عَلِیُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِیمَ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِی عُمَیْرٍ عَنْ زَیْدٍ الْبُرْسِیِّ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع یَقُولُ کَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص یَغْسِلُ رَأْسَهُ بِالسِّدْرِ وَ یَقُولُ اغْسِلُوا رُءُوسَکُمْ بِوَرَقِ السِّدْرِ فَإِنَّهُ قَدَّسَهُ کُلُّ مَلَکٍ مُقَرَّبٍ وَ کُلُّ نَبِیٍّ مُرْسَلٍ وَ مَنْ غَسَلَ رَأْسَهُ بِوَرَقِ السِّدْرِ صَرَفَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ وَسْوَسَهَ الشَّیْطَانِ سَبْعِینَ یَوْماً وَ مَنْ صَرَفَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ وَسْوَسَهَ الشَّیْطَانِ سَبْعِینَ یَوْماً لَمْ یَعْصِ وَ مَنْ لَمْ یَعْصِ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّهَ.
1. Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) says that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.s.) used to wash his head with Jujube leaves and say, “Wash your head with jujube leaves for all the angels and prophets consider this holy. Allah will keep away evil thoughts of Shaitaan for seventy days from the one who washes his head with jujube leaves. That person won’t commit sins and one who does not commit sins will enter Paradise.”

أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِیسَی عَنِ النَّوْفَلِیِّ عَنْ عِیسَی بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْعَلَوِیِّ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ص اغْتَمَّ فَأَمَرَهُ جَبْرَئِیلُ ع أَنْ یَغْسِلَ رَأْسَهُ بِالسِّدْرِ.
2. It is narrated from Isa bin Abdullah Alawi who has narrated from his father and he in turn from his father that when the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.s.) used to be sad, Jibraeel (a.s.) used to come to him and say, “Do wash your head with jujube leaves.”
