أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِدْرِیسَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ عَنْ مُوسَی بْنِ عِمْرَانَ عَنْ عَلِیِّ بْنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ رِبَاطٍ عَنْ بَعْضِ رِجَالِهِ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: لَا یَزَالُ الْعَبْدُ الْمُؤْمِنُ یُکْتَبُ مُحْسِناً مَا دَامَ سَاکِتاً فَإِذَا تَکَلَّمَ کُتِبَ مُحْسِناً أَوْ مُسِیئاً.
1. My father (rah) said: it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. Idris from Muhammad b. Ahmad from Musa b. ’Imran from Ali b. al-Hussain b. Ribat from some of his men from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: “A believer is counted among virtuous till he is silent. As soon as he speaks, he is included either among good people or bad ones.”
