1. Abū ‘Abdil Raḥmān Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad ibn Ḥusain Al-‘Askari and Muḥammad ibn Ḥasan both narrated to me from Ḥasan ibn ‘Ali ibn Mahziyār, from his father ‘Ali ibn Mahziyār, from Muḥammad ibn Abī ‘Umayr, from Muḥammad ibn Marwān, from Abī Ḥamzah Al-Thumāli, who said: (Imam Sādiq (a.s.) said – as part of a longer Ḥadīth): Then recite (the following): O Allāh! Do not make this the last time I come to their Ziyārah. Make me their partner and include me in the blessings which You have bestowed on them for supporting the son of Your Prophet’s daughter and Your Decisive Proof on Your creation and for fighting with him in Your way. O Allāh! Unite us with them in Your Paradise along with the Martyrs and the Righteous Ones. How excellent these companions are! I bid farewell to you and send my Salām to you. O Allāh! Sustain me with returning to them and resurrect me with them, O Most Merciful of the merciful ones.
